In 1996 face cunostinta cu primul sintetizator, un Junost-21 – un keytar rusesc si incepe sa realizeze primele compozitii, destul de… abstracte.
In 1996  made his first contact with a synthesizer: Junost 21 – a russian keytar and starts to creates his own compositions, pretty… abstracts!

In 1997, apar primele compozitii cu ajutorul calculatorului si DAW-urilor [Studio 4, ReBirth, Hammer Head, Ruber Duck etc] si compune primele sale piese de muzica electronica.
In 1997 is creating his first compositions, computer assisted: Studio 4, ReBirth, Hammer Head, Ruber Duck etc. 

In decembrie 1998, Dan Parpauta [Casa Romano-Franceza Busteni] ii propune sa infiinteze o trupa pentru un proiect desfasurat la nivelul oraselor infratite dintre Franta, Germania si Romania.
In  December 1998, Dan Parpauta [manager of Romanian-French House - Busteni] propose him to create a band for a musical project, regarding the human rights, with some other bands from France and Germany.

Astfel apare in ianurie 1999, formatia ARCA cu urmatoarea componenta: Mihail Adrian Simion (Alba Ecstasy) – clapa si voce, Horia Barleanu – chitara solo si voce, Crinu Dumitrescu - chitara bass si backing vocal, Jimmy Iordache – chitara armonie, Dan Ghetea – tobe. Trupa sustine cateva concerte locale in cadrul diferitelor festivaluri cu piese compuse de Alba Ecstasy si Horia Barleanu.
That why in January 1999, ARCA is born with the following members: Mihail Adrian Simion (Alba Ecstasy) – keyboard and vocal, Horia Barleanu – solo guitar and vocal, Crinu Dumitrescu – bass and backing vocal, Jimmy Iordache – guitar, Dan Ghetea – drums. The band is playing its own songs composed by Alba Ecstasy and Horia Barleanu.

In vara lui 1999, trupa pleaca in Franta [dupa preselectia realizata] si inregistreaza 2 piese, pe un CD pe care mai apar 2 trupe din Franta si una din Germania.
July 1999 – the band go to France [after auditions] and record 2 songs on a CD [Compilaction] with the other bands from France and Germany. 

La “Les 18 marches” [Moissy Cramayel - Franta] Alba Ecstasy ia cunostinta de modalitatea de lucru in studio si masterizare si isi intalneste prima “iubire sintetica”: Roland D-70…
In the studio of “Les 18 marches” [Moissy Cramayel - France], Alba Ecstasy starts to be more interested in audio mastering and also meet his first “synthetic love”: Roland D-70 [10 years later he buy 2 pieces of D-70 for the old time sakes!]. 

1999 - august, este momentul in care trupa se destrama, la scurt timp dupa ce Alba Ecstasy paraseste trupa.
August 1999 – Alba Ecstasy leave the band and starts the solo career.

Trei saptamani mai tarziu [septembrie 1999], apare primul album Alba Ecstasy, “Spiritual” – un album de muzica electronica realizat in intregime numai cu ajutorul sintetizatoarelor virtuale.
Three weeks later [september 1999] – first album of electronic music – Spiritual – made only with VSTs.

Urmeaza apoi primele concerte de muzica electronica in formula Alba Ecstasy – Horia Barleanu, proiecte care s-au desfasurat sub numele de ZEN si mai tarziu Sons of the Sun [Copii Soarelui].
Later, Alba Ecstasy and Horia Barleanu will have a couple of common project under the names ZEN and Sons of the Sun, until 2003 when Alba Ecstasy steps into a new dimension of his life…
